RECYCLING & GREEN BUILDERS.

      RECYCLING

Yes, we love Florida and we do care for the environment in our cities and counties.

In 1988 Florida passed a low that solid waste disposal will be reduced by 30% through general waste reduction and recycling. The goal was to reduce pollution, save energy in the manufacturing process and increase the life of the landfills.

Each county set its own recycling collection and disposal program.

                           GREEN BUILDERS

                                  WHAT IS GREEN BUILDING?

Green building is the practice of reducing the impact a building has on the environment and humans by increasing the efficiency in which the building uses resources such as water, energy and materials.

This goal is achieved through better design, construction and maintenance.

Green builders use recycled and recyclable non toxic materials. They also make use of renewable resources such as solar, photovoltaic, green roofs and rain gardens to reduce the use of regular grid power and waste of water.

Green building can lead to the following results:

-          Reduction in operating costs

-          Improved health to occupants and public

-          Reduced impact on the environment
